New York Associates Choose to Volunteer in Place of Accepting a Gift of Appreciation

A group of Limited Brands administrative professionals volunteered last week to prepare, pack and deliver meals on behalf of God's Love We Deliver (GLWD), the New York metropolitan area's leading provider of life-sustaining nutritional support services for people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and other life-altering illnesses. In place of accepting gifts to celebrate Administrative Professionals day which was in April, these associates elected to volunteer their time to feed the hungry. For the past few years, Limited Brands associates have volunteered at GLWD with additional volunteer opportunities planned for the remainder of the year.

For nearly 25 years, God's Love has delivered more than 9.3 million meals throughout the city's five boroughs, and in Newark and Hudson County, New Jersey. In addition, they have provided nutritional counseling and education to more than 64,000 people and their care providers, helping individuals optimize their medical treatment through healthful dietary practices.
